About Me

Hello. I'm an Emmy Award-winning journalist, producer, director, and correspondent.

When I'm not staring into the distance from the banner of the "about me" page on my personal website, I'm usually making docs with my friends or writing something all by myself.

I'm currently the senior producer on a podcast series for Apple TV+. Last year, I produced a number of films about the coronavirus pandemic for The New York Times, including "Heartache in the Hot Zone" with Nicholas Kristof as well as an immersive profile of a Philadelphia hospital, which I also shot and edited. The former won an Emmy for Outstanding News Analysis.

As the host and producer of Viceland's flagship music series, Noisey, I interviewed artists like Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, and Killer Mike, and covered topics like extrajudicial police murders in São Paulo, Islamophobia in Paris in the wake of the Bataclan attacks, and dancehall’s relationship with political gangs in Kingston, Jamaica. I've also written features for VICE Magazine, and my investigation into Detroit’s violent relationship with Cartier sunglasses was a cover story for the Detroit Metro Times and is being adapted into a feature film.
